Info for Arts Nights Celebrations

Greenwood School will be  holding its annual Arts Night Celebration on Thursday, May 3, 2012 in conjunction with the Book Fair.  This event is always a big success, and we hope to see as many of you there as possible to celebrate the artistic accomplishments of all of our Greenwood students grades 1-6.

Park School's Annual Arts Night Celebration will take place on Tuesday, May 15.  In addition to the work on exhibit from all students, the chorus, under the direction of Mrs. Brunelle, will be performing as will local artist/storyteller/musician, Keith Munslow.  The chorus will begin at 6pm, and Mr. Munslow will perform immediately following at around 6:30.  This evening will be a fun one not to be missed!

Youth Art Month

March is Youth Art Month!  If you get a chance, take a trip to the Warwick Public Library.  There is an art exhibit up showcasing work of students grades 1-8 from across the city.

Artsonia.com

Be on the lookout!  Students have been given their individual user names and security codes for the Artsonia.com website.  You can visit the site anytime to see the wonderful masterpieces created by the students of Greenwood and Park Elementary Schools.  The site offers a chance for you to register.  This will ensure that you will receive notification each time a new piece of your child's art is posted.  Share the site with family and friends.  Join fan clubs and leave encouraging comments for our artists.  In addition, there is an option of purchasing items with your child's artwork on them.  All proceeds go to purchasing additional art supplies for the students or to cultural arts events!  Thank you for your interest and support of the art program.
